VAI offers special discounted registration rates for the following attendees:
Spouses
A spouse who accompanies a full, 3-day registrant may register at the spouse rate, which includes all the benefits of a full, 3-day registration.
Children & Students
Children (anyone under 18) are welcome to attend VERTICON 2025. All children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Because of safety concerns, no children are permitted on the show floor during exhibitor move-in or move-out.
Children ages 14 and under: registration is free, but the child must wear a youth badge. Registered adults can pick up youth badges at the attendee registration area on-site.
Children ages 15 to 17: must obtain a paid registration. To register at the Student rate, you must provide proof of your student status, either by uploading a document of proof when registering online† or by showing proof when registering on-site. VAI accepts as proof of student status one of the following:
- School ID card
- Letter on school letterhead signed by your advisor or instructor
- Tuition receipt demonstrating current enrollment.
Active Military
Active-duty military personnel may register at the Active Military rate by providing proof of military status. After submitting your registration, you’ll receive an email with instructions for uploading proof of eligibility for this discounted rate. After you upload your document(s) to the registration portal, your information will be reviewed. Once your status is approved, you’ll receive an official attendee registration confirmation email.
We highly recommend that active-duty military personnel register online to save time!
Register by Fax or Mail
VAI will accept registrations received by fax or mail at its Alexandria, Virginia, office by Jan. 17, 2025.

After Jan. 17, 2025, VAI will accept only online or on-site registrations.
Attendee Badge Policy
All attendees must wear a badge to be admitted onto the show floor. No exceptions will be made. If you forget or misplace your badge, you may obtain a replacement badge in Attendee Registration.
Attendee Badge Pickup
All badges will be available for pickup during registration hours in Attendee Registration.
Attendee Registration Changes
Attendee Registration Substitutions
VAI will accept changes to attendee registrations such as the name on the registration or the dates of attendance. Attendees can make these changes in the registration portal online or on-site at Attendee Registration. No changes will be accepted after Wed., Mar. 5.
Attendee Registration Cancellations
If you need to cancel your VERTICON 2025 registration, please email Verticon@verticalavi.org by midnight Fri., Feb. 21, 2025, to receive a full refund minus a $20 processing fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations after that date.
